SnagitPro is an independent publication about screen capture and documentation tools. It is not TechSmith's official website, store, or support service. On this site, “SnagitPro” names the publication; it does not identify a software license you can buy from us.
Product names and ownership
Snagit and Camtasia are trademarks of TechSmith Corporation. TechSmith currently presents the product as Camtasia Snagit. Other product names and logos referenced here belong to their respective owners; SnagitPro does not claim ownership of them.
A product mention identifies what a guide discusses. It is not a statement that the vendor wrote, approved, or endorsed the guide. Commercial links are covered by the affiliate disclosure; a payment relationship, where one exists, should be explained with the relevant recommendation.
This notice does not grant permission to copy software, logos, screenshots, or other protected material. Check the applicable owner's terms and any permission you need before reusing material. TechSmith's Snagit and Camtasia license terms describe rights and restrictions for its software and related content.
Official downloads, purchases, and support
Use TechSmith's Snagit download page for the official installer route. SnagitPro does not supply an installer or issue a TechSmith software license.
For account access, activation, or a product problem, start at the TechSmith Help Center. For an order, cancellation, or refund, check the seller shown on your receipt and that seller's support instructions. SnagitPro cannot access your TechSmith account or process the seller's transactions.
Check the actual checkout and applicable license terms before buying. A price or subscription description in a guide can become outdated; it is not a quote or contract from the seller.
What a guide can and cannot establish
The research and verification method distinguishes documentation-based checks from an actual hands-on test. A guide should state the evidence for its instructions. Reading vendor documentation or including a generated illustration does not prove that the steps were performed on a particular computer.
Before following instructions, check the product version, operating system, permissions, and any limitations stated in the article. Keep a backup or work on a copy when a step could change or delete your files. A guide cannot guarantee the same result on every setup.
Report an error or rights concern
Contact SnagitPro with the page URL and the exact text, image, or link you are concerned about. For a factual error, include a source that supports the correction. For a rights concern, identify the material and explain your connection to it. Do not send passwords, software keys, payment details, or private working files.
